Med student. Just great.
nigella sativa<<<
How strange, I knew it as "Love in a mist", it was popular
in the early 1900's as a vine on fences, the seeds may still
be sold, I have seen them in the seed catalogs, maybe in
Pinetree seeds.
It is the Black Cumin, there was talk of it last week as an
explosive on one of the threads.
I did not know of the itch to the skin bit, but had heard of
Black Cumin for healing.

Back at that post 2750, is this the same ricin?
From text:
'huile de ricin"
About my new posting format, I have posted what I can get,
I cannot go to Yahoo and read an article, but a newsletter
gave me the short blurb and I by crashing many times, I
managed to get the url....it really isn't worth it to me, and is too tiring.
There are several of us that do not have new computers and will never know for instance what is in Vel's post about the
man who tried to crash the plane.
So short easy on the eyes is not the best for all of us.
I didn't check to see if my messed up post had been deleted, I asked the Moderator to do so.
As always, thanks for the laugh. My son has had a terrible flu like illness for two days. I think it is over with now. Need the laugh though.

The LA Weekly has posted a web story that Brent Shapiro, the son of defense attorney and author Robert Shapiro, died Monday after taking Ecstasy. He was 24 and a student at USC. Funeral services were held today.
Shapiro's son died on Oct 10th after being found on Sunday, Oct. 9th unconscious...after having taken esctasy over the week-end. Just makes me wonder if he took something that was a "special" esctasy that was cooked up by this student who killed himself on the 7th......just my tinfoil working in overdrive. But IIRC there were AQ notes that indicated that they encouraged tainting street drugs.
nigella sativa<<< sativa?
Could you smoke it?
Thanks for posting that, I haven't seen it.
These articles always pose more questions for me than answers. Have we read/heard anywhere yet whether he was here on a student visa? Why would a medical student waste his education to make ecstasy pills? OR, was his plan to poison the pills and distribute them to the dumb kids that use this stuff? That question arises because I still can't figure out why he would commit suicide upon being caught by the police.
I would be surprised if ricin and nigella are even in the
same family.
Ricin is Castor Bean, a tropical plant, that will grow to
15 feet high with wooly leaves, that are as big as dinner
plates. I have planted it, as it is said to run gophers off and may work....LOL
The seeds will kill a person and are beautiful, some about
a half inch oblong in red/brown/black mottled colors, shiny and pretty enough to use in necklaces....but deadly.
During the 60's someone imported necklaces for the hippies that had these seeds in them and killed a couple of kids.
Going from memory of a photo of Nigella, it is a small
flower and fine cut leaf, that is a vine and also there
may be a plant, but not in the castor bean family.
I see we are on the same wavelength. :)
I agree Ruth, I sometimes just pass up link only posts for two reasons, one being my IP is slooooooooow and two I don't like clicking to links that have popup's etc. Even though I have a blocker I just like to stay here on FR for the most part where I know I'm not getting a virus.
I have no idea what I copied then in post 2750.
It didn't translate in the Google Translate option.

Funny how they look alike.
First Johnny Jihad, then Joel Jihad and this guy [forgot his name] but they are so similar in appearance!!
You have raised some valid concerns. Great job connecting the two!
I'm monitoring the story here in SD on the suicide and will keep updating as I see or hear more.
I'm thinking I'm glad he's in jail......

Thank you for printing the story on the meth lab, it is one of the sites that will not work for me.
My guess, is that he was a good fund raiser for the terrorists.
That there are that many people buying the drug, is the scary part to me.
15 years ago, our real estate law classes, started teaching that the meth makers would bring the left over chemicals over the border into Arizona and dump it in the desert, where it stayed in the soil and if a child played/ate it could get sick or die........and we would be sued.
How to you look at bare ground and know what has been dumped on it? Impossible, once it dries.
Strange how these muslim names creep into the dope scene, when most are thinking it is the mexican gangs.
I knew you'd know! ;-)
Thanks to you both!
