The Threat Matrix

The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

Home grown Islamists may hit US: FBI chief

WASHINGTON -- The United States could be attacked by "home grown" Islamist terror groups, the FBI's chief has warned.

FBI Director Robert Mueller told the London Financial Times newspaper in an interview published Thursday that the United States could face attacks from "home-grown terrorism" very similar to the July 7 bombings in London that killed 52 people and wounded another 700, Mueller said.

When asked if the United States could face such attacks from "home-grown groups", Mueller answered emphatically: "Absolutely, it could," the Financial Times said.

This did, however, point out how we are sorely lacking on the small city homefront to know what is going on with these Joel Jihad types.

How well I know! I live in Coral Gables, FL. Near the University of Miami campus. From my local contacts in law enforcement, I gather that the school is a hotbed of Islamist activity. But they're virtually untouchable. Most have diplomatic immunity. I can just imagine what kind of stuff gets put in those diplomatic pouches! Can't you just see the notes from diplomatic "daddies:" Tell Mohammed over at UM here are the detonators he asked for in his last letter home....

Someone in the US government is going to have to take a serious look at the policy regarding terrorist funding. The way the law is written, the PA may very well be ineligible for US aid if it is actively funding HAMAS members.

Bomb squad uses robot to blow up car

Police also arrested a man who told them the explosives were in the car.
When police took the man, whose name was not released, into custody, he told them there was a bomb in the car.
The sheriff said his detectives were preparing to interview the man in custody and were not yet sure of the motive for the bomb.

Yep...and a few more as gifts! I predict that this book with be #1 within days. And the MSM news readers will be flustered "if" they even acknowledge Freeh or his book. They have all been in the Clinton camp for so long they can't see the forrest for the trees...or something like that...I am just giddy with delight that the true Clinton legacy is coming to light.

Freeh says he was determined to stay on as FBI director until President Clinton left office so that Clinton could not appoint his successor. “I was concerned about who he would put in there as FBI director because he had expressed antipathy for the FBI, for the director,” he tells Wallace. “[So] I was going to stay there and make sure he couldn’t replace me,” Freeh tells Wallace.
