LOL!
Or, no, wait -- Roberts to overturn Roe, FEMA to deal with all the hundreds of millions of women lining the alleys, instantly slain by illegal abortions.

I think Roberts will be outstanding.Bush has been "misunderestimated" again, I believe. I think he made an incredible smart choice.

Some folks need to take a 6th grade social studies class. And then read the United States Constitution. Yeah, but in this case it's not BibChr. He was mocking a certain crowd of people.

Let's only hope he'll be showing his love the way Wesley did.

Stevens will hang on until his last breath. I know that, but he sure looked feeble to me and '08 is still a few years off.

The SCOTUS story is getting short shrift, even on FOX.
IT's "John Roberts was sworn in today as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court."
Now, on to the wildfires in California...

LOL, My thoughts exactly!
I think Jack is probably very bright although a bit precocious.
My own son was a stemwinder when young, but grew into a very fine adult-size yonng man. :)

Good health and long life to Chief Justice Roberts! This is a sobering thought, but Roberts may be the last Chief Justice of my lifetime. He's the first Supreme Ct. justice appointed who is actually younger than me. I wish him long life, a solid and impressive career, and may he guide the court and the entire judicial system back to its original intent.

Bush has been "misunderestimated" again, I believe. I think he made an incredible smart choice. My only criticism is that Roberts should have stayed the O'Conner replacement, then have Bush nominate a no nonsense conservative as the Rehnquist replacement. Would have stood a much better chance of success.

Geez the meds must be off...can't seem to spell today!
Didn't they say "Jack"? Was the kid disruptive? Did I hear him holler during the swearing in?

Except for that pro-bono homo thing that has never been given a satisfactory answer. There have been many satisfactory answers, over and over again here on FR and in the MSM.
So once again, for those of you with a reading comprehension problem:
When you are a partner in a law firm you take the cases assigned to you, and you do the best you can for the client. End of story.
To do anything else can get you ousted from the partnership. You approach unsavory clients/cases the same way you handle "nice ones" or you find another line of work.

Today is John Roberts' big day. I don't expect the President to step on that. Tomorrow is fine.

I agree. President Bush is a gentleman, as well as a political strategist. For both reasons, today is John Roberts day.
The press corps still haven't really internalized the fact that President Bush makes the news, not learns it from their articles and TV appearances.

They do call him Jack, but I think his name is John.
Some of us thought we heard his strong little voice during the swearing in.....but it abruptly ceased :))
