House Majority Leader Tom DeLay indicted on one count of criminal conspiracy by Texas grand jury, according to Travis County clerk's office.
"Tom Tancredo is a one issue and one issue only Congressman. All he ever talks about is immigration, which is not what a leader is all about. A leader is responsible for many, many important issues. I am Pro-life, but it would be stupid to put someone in leadership that just talked about abortion 24/7. I stopped listening to him a long time ago. The borders are an important issue, but not the only one,and there is no evidence that Tancredo cares about anything else."
Good point. However...
If your house is on fire, the only issue would be discussing is putting out the fire.
Currently, most people in the USA are concerned with border security and the affect it is having on our economy, state budgets, terrorism, and national defense.
It is a national disgrace that we are defenseless at the border.

Everybody's talking about this case as if Frist was in real trouble--what gives? I hadn' heard that.
If he really had his money in a blind trust, then he should be in the clear, right? If the stock is sold before the price goes down, that's because of the investment advisos, not Frist. Or am I missing something?

Yeah, I heard him mention it and then he went back to the gas prices. See, I'm with the economists who say the gas prices aren't that big a deal, to some extent. They hurt, they don't feel good, we don't like them, we complain about them. But we can afford them, they aren't breaking the bank, at least so far, the economy is still cooking along, and the hurricanes haven't destroyed our refining capacity completely. So I'd rather he'd have talked about something more timely.
Maybe he doesn't know anything about politics. Which makes him a damned odd choice for a guest host for Rush.

I Have good friends in Texas who feel he SHOULD have been indicted. I am on the fence.
Why has he had free time...if he is a god awful criminal? I guess the law will decide.
