I've been trying to figure out who that is.

He looks familiar...

Somehow they connected me with Bob Clampett.

BEANY AND CECIL. Original Medium: Puppets Produced by: Bob Clampett First Appeared: 1949 Creator: Bob Clampett.
I'm feeling unlucky.

"They offer weekends off."
LOL

Yah. Actually I talked to our HR guy this week (the day before he submitted his notice of resignation...!), and he's going to talk with my new boss next week. In my line of work (ostensibly? I'm still ranked as a software engineer though that's neither my title nor my job) a loss of the occasional Saturday/weekend is to be expected. But this much... no.

Be glad you don't have to spend time in the library reading this... Nearly 400 pages, all in a language quite foreign to me, mathematics.

Match you and raise you one, NnBob. Part of my day job. Written by an engineer, but it ends there...

"I mean ... his name was Bob!"

Ugh!

Not that my name is Bob, 'cuz it isn't, but maybe it should have been because whenever someone forgets my name they call me... Bob.

(Should I sign up again as "NotnamedBob"?)

how did the fire start?
it looks like the guy had a small microphone clipped to his neckline... and the alcohol slopped onto it. Am I seeing this correctly?

I think it was a flaming cocktail that the guy managed to spill slightly.

Then of course he reacted badly to the small slosh and made a spectacle of himself. His stunt didn't go over very well in both the "don't try this at home" and the "hold muh beer and watch this" categories.

I give him a one.

Speaking of rides, we'll be blasting off for our lunar expedition in a few hours -- O-dark-thrty or thereabouts Eniwetok time. Didja remember to pack your toothbrush?

It beats the alternative.

On December 27th, we'll be taking off with the whole shebang; castle, moat, grainfields and orchards, and at least one very pregnant chick. Flight plan calls for no more than three to five gees, so the average medical condition should not present a problem, if one is properly supported.

We'll need you out there. Who knows what we'll encounter?
