I didn't take typing in high school because where I came from, women were expected to be baby factories. I didn't "learn" how to type until I was 40.
My classes were filled with kids who were just out of high school. I ended up being a tutor to several of them, both for typing and for computers. It was actually a high point in my life. :o]
