Remember what happened to your namesake . . .
It wasn't pretty.

I have backlogs of cleaning from when I spend a year depressed and the year before that in pain...and nobody really picked up the slack, and some things just kept piling up...And hubby's out of town, so I don't have to spend the weekend doing couples stuff, which I like, but cuts into getting things accomplished.
Rather clean than munch.
Now I have to go to the store and buy a gallon of vinegar and a clean mop...

I used to do a lot of cleaning when I was a new bride...I married a sailor, so I had nothing much to do for weeks at a time.
Wish I had some of that energy now...;o]

What is this "cleaning"?
Does it involve, like, mops and things?

Hi folks!
This is the new home of the undead thread.
The troll is gone now.
:-)
Welcome to the castle.

I'm not sure. It's been eight months since my last deep cleaning, and I am heartily sorry...
Oh. Wait...that's not it...

Why haven't robots that do all the housework been invented yet?

I gave up my mop and now have a Swiffer Jet Mop. It's much easier on my back. :o]

Hey, I've got one of those. Nice, isn't it?
My husband prefers to use of the cats. He spins Tomas around on the floor and we end up with a nice shiny surface (and a dizzy cat.)

LOL!
Yah, my mop somehow didn't make it here from Texas, and as soon as I could, I got a Swiffer. I've been asking myself ever since why I didn't do it sooner...

I must be bored. I even watched a little TV last night. I haven't watched TV in I don't know when when I was at home.

That's what I mean.....We have video cell phones, in the Dick Tracey tradition, but we don't have high tech methods to clean the house.
It's just stupid.
We should invent it.
Our invention could fund the castle!

You may want to bring that up to Bob when he gets back from being "beered."

I have one of those swifter mops, too...but sometimes I find vinegar and water and a clean mop are the best...

I don't know about floors, but I'm finding the best way to clean off my desk is to allow one of the kittens up here.
She is systematically knocking everything off onto the floor. About all that's left is my keyboard and monitor.
