It's called the Bonnet Carre spillway.
She was being begged by the President and Max Mayfield starting on the Sat. before, and I don't think she gave her blessing to the help until Wednesday, if memory serves. I'm sure Miss Marple knows.

That's it, thanks.

The Bonnet Carre' Spillway is a vital element of the comprehensive plan for flood control in the Lower Mississippi Valley. This multi-state plan, called the Mississippi River and Tributaries Project (MR&T), provides flood protection for the alluvial valley between Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and the mouth of the river.
"Why are electrical power lines still above ground, where they are vulnerable to storms and terrorists?"
We recently had a study here in Tulsa about this. The cost is $600,000/mile. for existing lines. the cost for newly developed regions are much lower.
Okay, that's not the broken one then.
Trees! Which are not present where I live -- without power poles, no nests.
LOL---Sheila was up and talking into that microphone LIVE at 7:30 this morning when I turned on my TV....
I quickly turned it off!!!
Sigh. What does it take for these guys to learn? Are they TRYING to make Rita look bad so they will have interesting reporting?
