Because Denise Majette overplayed her hand in figuring that since she beat the incumbent squirrel McKinney in that Atlanta House district, she could run for the Sanate on a statewide level. It never occurred to her that she was elected strictly to get rid of that embarassment McKinney.

The SAME way Nagin will be reelected. Its called black dems sticking together. Even if 90% of them in her district HATED her, they would have voted for her if the choice was between her and a white guy. My most sincere apologies to my fellow freepers who are conservative blacks. You guys know I'm right on this one.
