Cynthia McKinney: A Moron Speaks...Live from the DC Peace Demonstration
C-SPAN | 09/24/05 | self

Posted on 09/24/2005 8:47:47 AM PDT by blake6900

Her opening line at the "peace" demonstration was a real winner: "If we didn't know it now, we certainly know it now."

This rally is a great comedic diversion from the Hurricane Rita coverage. Tune in and indulge.

You're right...this crowd is cracking me up! They are literally zombies! They sway with their posters and signs and you can't hear them respond but you see their mouths moving. Sad, really.

Elias Rashmawi... didn't I buy a Slurpee from you yesterday?

Thanks. Now I have to clean iced tea from my monitor and keyboard.

"telling the WH to use the helicopters to rescue people instead of spying on them"

Someone should ask Becker why all the people on the Mall aren't down south helping those people?

Wow, there were more people at the Mullet festival in Ft Walton, FL last year than this anti-America rally.

I think that too. The whole movement seems to be a nostalgia thing. They have no idea how silly they look. The world should be much better off when they fade into nursing homes.

They've got so many different messages even the crowd looks listless and confused.

Of course the crowd is confused or they wouldn't be there(or maybe it's the drugs).

Theyre claiming the metro system is clogged with buses full of more folks on the way

They always claim that.

Next they will blame the DC police for blocking the buses.

"Our brothers and sisters have broken through the police barricades, they'll be here soon, really! Now put some more dollars in that bucket!"

My husband is at Protest Warrior's rally today, I'm pretty sure he managed to navigate the Metro and get to the Navy Memorial in time...
