Rush brilliantly explains the difference between conservatives and liberals on the issue of abortion and the death penalty:

Remember this, folks. When defining the difference between liberals and conservatives, particularly on a matter of life, liberals fight to the end to protect convicted murderers. We fight to the end to protect innocent, unborn babies.

Its really that's simple. The difference between depravity and innocence. Its the values, stupid. The Left thinks they're a smart bunch so they talk down to us and accuse us of being inconsistent. They're the ones who are inconsistent! If you want to talk about colossal ignorance as Dr. Rush says in his capacity as head of the Institute For Advanced Conservative Studies, just look at liberals. They have brains but not the ideas to along with them.

I listened to this segment live today and it was one of Rash's greatest moments

This is why the term "pro-life" needs to be revised. I am pro-death when it comes to murderers (this includes abortionists) and probably rapists, but pro-life for everyone else. I think most "pro-lifers" feel this way, and are sickened at this repeated idiot question, "How can you be pro-life and support the death penalty?" It's the same talking point that the Left has used for years.

Reminds me of a PJ O'Rourke quote, and I am paraphrasing. "I can see the logic of being anti-death penelty and anti-abortion, or being pro-death penalty or pro-abortion, but it takes a lifetime of therapy to reach the liberal positon of killing babies and saving muderers.

Society is protecting the lives of innocent others when a murderer is put to death.

"Why am I pro-life? Because life in the womb is the essence of innocence. The utter essence of innocence." Sorry I missed this. Wow! Says it all.

I'm glad to see what seems to be a slight change in policy for Rush. The stakes are too high at this point in our history to suffer fools. He could have sliced and diced the original caller, and it would have been entertaining radio. But I like this approach at this point in time. The left is so wacky that there are still plenty of laughs to be had.

I remember being in the 8th grade in a Catholic school in Brooklyn. We had to have a debate in class. The topic was abortion. My group was on the anti abortion side. I knew in 8th grade what was right. These morons dont know, at all ages. Liberals and other pro-choice( pro infanticide ) are loons.

Just reverse their insidious question, and ask them: "How can you be pro-life for convicted murderers and pro-death for unblemished, adorable babies?

I always use this question when I am confronted by Liberals in a roundtable discussion at the kitchen table. It always stymies them.

It makes perfect sense to be both pro life and pro death penalty. I'm for the death penalty purely out of respect for life. When the death penalty was instituted in Gen. 9.6, God said, "Whoever sheds man's blood, By man his blood shall be shed, For in the image of God He made man."

Were man not made in the image of God, his life would be worth no more than that of a alligator, but out of respect for man's life, we have the death penalty.
