I don't think that Gov. Blanco heart is close to God,because what she had done in past. (God and Family)
Her attack on Fathers/Family is great, and I don't think God is with her.
Mr. Bush , God is closer to You than Blanco. Ask God for Help, and ask the American people to join You together in asking and praying to the Lord/GOD for help. I believe God will response
Ditto (and I like rice).

Anyone know how accurate BAM is?
God's strength, comfort and grace be with all of you!
Not in the same area you are...am in Florida:) Just glad to see you made it ok...we're keeping track of our FRiends in LA and TX.
True, true, true (glad WCG isn't around these parts to see us slamming Budweiser :-)
I agree with you. Houston isn't NOLA where the city is surrounded by water and inadequate levees. The city knows what areas are prone to flooding after Allison. Shelters could have been opened to the North and Northwest - it would be better than nothing.
You are right. We actually thought we were leaving early. We left earlier than most people in my neighborhood, some planning to leave yesterday morning.
thanks!
Thanks for the report frog. My dad is staying home in southwest Houston. Near Gessner, Braeswood and 59. Any reports from near there appreciated.

Looking at those models after landfall, it looks like someone activated the "covey of quail" variable in the modelling algorithms...
Seems to me the outcry against tax dollars for NO is getting louder.
