No matter how good a plan is, things will go wrong. We learn and improve the next time. Everything can't be anticipated.
So that all new current information gets posted in one spot, instead of all over 10 previous threads.
This way people trying to keep up-to-date only have to track one thread (the latest-and-greatest).
Dumas Demons. Used to have family reunions when the Demons would end up in the state playoffs.
Good night folks - we pray for those in harm's way. Tomorrow will be a long night for many.
The force of the wind will do damage and break glass, and flying debris will do the same.
I am forbidden to enter that site. LOLOL!!!
Bumping your links!
Why are you forbidden?
Any wind, storm surge, high water, rain or gas shortages in the Texas gulf coast area will all be BUSH'S FAULT! OK? </sarcasm>
Hit your Back button and try again. That happened to me, too...but I got right in the second time.
Man....I'm just not going to do this this time around. That's why I've kept quiet all day and I shoulda just stuck with it.
Come 8 pm tomorrow ight, before the winds reach HF, you'll see a ghost town on those freeways.
NAAA!
UMMMP!
Not going to argue, just wait'll then and we'll see what we see.
I know, I was providing additional supporting evidence for your position.
Ok, does that mean 1488 is done with it? Where exactly is the contraflow on 1488? is it anywhere near Montgomery to the Woodlands?
"Doesn't get much worst then that".
That should be "Does not get much worse than that".
No, that should be "Dudn't git much worse'n nat." :P
I was there for the Short course after DlI-Monterey...
After Monterey in August, September in Texas was a bit of a shock....
A little side note. At the Oregon State Fair in "lovely" Salem we showed the "Strange Thing" Tuesday after Katrina hit we donated all profits made from the "Strange Thing. I talked folks in (yes I am a showman/retailer) and I was amazed at how hard heated folks were to not give a dollar to the hurricane victims (and see the Strange Thing to boot) vehement reactions from liberal land--its the governments job to help those folks out was the reaction...
I donated a days profit (and that was no meager amount) and I worked hard for those victims and I was called rude etc, for suggesting that folks donate a measley buck...
It was all I could do...my wife and I were brought to tears the night before listening to the story of a man who had his family on the roof when the waters came..the surge split the house in two--water loosening the grip he had on his wifes hand...Take care of the children were her last words as she slipped into the murky flood. The man was lost, devastated, broken...That image of losing his wife will haunt him forever...the what ifs will haunt him...
And those lousy libs in Salem would refuse to donate a measley buck to the victims...laughing as they ran away.
If they would have said, " we are going to donate directly to the Red Cross, Salvation Army, directly" Then I would have beenfine with that--but no...screw the victims was the attitude...
once again, rant off...
ps. we just recently returned home after months on the road doing fairs, still have a couple of more---next one starting next Thursday in Hollister, CA....
I think he turned around and came back.Check his home page and his posts.I think he went to bed.
