Your assessment is exactly correct, IMO, regarding the generational difference.............and the New England/ Texas, W is like Mom and not like Dad factors enter in too.

I'll bet the President is biting his tongue a LOT lately.

We all know who's fault 9/11 was, and for President Bush to have to take the blame when he knows who was responsible, has to stink....

Someone said it best when they said, "FR has been invaded by Pod People"........it's clearly happened again.

Hopefully they will all return to their home planets soon, or crawl back under their rocks.

I've had enough of these morons. They're ignorant of history, and tradition, and politics and everything else.

They just spout nonsense, and then call you names when you call them on their factual errors.

Morons.

I haven't gotten tickets yet. I've been lazy. And much too focused on our new furry (untrainable) "child". Grrr! I will try tomorrow.

The photos are heart-warming. Thanks.

Sadly, though, President Bush is going to take a beating after Rita much worse than after Katrina. Have you watched the polls? Libs blame him for the increase in gas prices already, like he controls the weather; they'll go nuts when Rita takes out more refineries.

I'm soooooo depressed!!!

I love that photo of your mom. She looks so gentle, much the way you are gentle. I hope the arthritis is not painful for her. It is good that your dad gets a change of pace in getting out in the afternoon, even if only for a Dr. appt.

I agree that Clinton has not been well since his surgery. It just always amuses me that "Poppy" looks better!

It is difficult to know if she is in pain as she is no longer able to actually say that.

You ask her and sometimes she says yes and sometime no but you do not know if she really understands.

No problem.. I was working here at the house all day, so I spent quite a bit of time in and out, fighting the good fight.

Actually, one of the things that surprises me so much is how totally ignorant of history most people are.

Almost ALL the bashers (with a couple of rare exceptions), just don't have their information correct.

And they are almost all miserable people who seem to enjoy, in a perverse sense, being mad all the time.

I get mad at them, but I feel very sorry for them at the same time. What a way to live!
