Yep, A.M., it is already chaos. My hubby and I will be leaving sometime between 1:00 a.m. & 3:00 a.m. We're headed for New Braunfels to stay with friends but have to go pick up our boat on the way out of town.... ugh! I just hope we can find gas along the way as that sucker is a heavy tow. I'm adamant about not staying in Houston for the storm, not because I fear our house blowing down, but I refuse to be without electricity for days. Wish us luck getting where we're going!

You are a smart lady. Evacuating is not only about being further inland to be safe, but about keeping the creature comforts as well. Stay safe and try to make the most of your stay elsewhere.
