Have a couple of bathrooms? Pile everyone in there. The plumbing pipes make it strong. Put the kids in the tub and cover them with a mattress. Cover the windows.

Ruh-roh, rodguy, that doesn't sound good...

If even Superweatherman---Jim Cantore won't stick around, it might be really bad!!

I wonder if he had to tie Bubba up and stuff him in a closet to keep him from taking that gig???

I don't think so. It doesn't seem Bubba is helping out all that much with the relief effort but, rather, according to numerous new stories, is busy shooting his mouth off to reporters about politics in support of Hillary.

These model runs keep moving the strike zone to the north and east. South Texas now out of the cone zone (though tracking this far out is just about certain to change). The "average" track seems to be for Galveston Bay.

If I had a place down there, and even if like my husband stayed there by himself and sent me and family north...

I would tell him to call TV and radio stations and let them know that there is room in my house...just in case they are needed.

Might make some bucks...but even if you don't make some $$$$, it might be fun if you were staying there...and nice to have someone watch the house, if you aren't.

South Texas now out of the cone zone

Really? I haven't seen a recent one. Is New Orleans still at the extreme right of the cone? Or, is it more inside?

Rita has wobbled westward during the past few hours. A motion toward the west-northwest near 13 mph...21 km/hr...is expected to resume later tonight and continue for the next 24 hours. On this track...the center of Rita will pass over or near Andros Island in the Bahamas tonight...and approach the Florida Keys Tuesday morning.

Andros is that island to the north of where the track lines start (In fact both the islands next to each other appear to be called Andros). If the above is accurate, than all the lines are too far south.

Speaking of Hillary (do we have to?), guess who is coming down bigtime on ole lard butt????

Cindy Sheehan!!! Yeppers, ole Cindy has decided that Hillary is the devil also, because she is pro-Iraq War...and Cindy has warned her that if she doesn't change her mind...

Cindy will see that she loses in New York...

Cindy MIGHT be good for something after all!!!

Those little lines should be crossing over those islands, rather than being to the south of them.

Yes, candles are necessary. Garden Ridge carries candles in very large glass containers that would last a very long time.
