Air America Hosts: Farrakhan Not Wrong on Levees

Two hosts at the liberal radio network Air America are defending Nation of Islam leader Minister Louis Farrakhan - saying he's not wrong to suspect that white people deliberately blew up the levees in New Orleans.

"You cannot blame people for coming up with conspiracy theories," Air America host Chuck D. said, after he was asked Thursday about the paranoid pronouncement by MSNBC's Tucker Carlson.

Carlson gave him a second chance to denounce Farrakhan's lunatic declaration, saying, "You're a smart guy. You know that white people didn't blow up the levees to kill black people. You've gotta know that didn't happen."

But the Air America host refused to budge, insisting instead that there was a chance Farrakhan could be right

First, I am no Farrakhan fan.

That said, in 1927 (The Great Flood) local, state, and federal authorities did blow up a levee to relieve Mississippi pressure on levees in NO. They had to choose between flooding industrial or residential sections. Guess which ones got flooded.

It was a bad storm,poor construction and a bunch of people who refused to heed warnings ahead of time. No conspiring to flood any particular races homes. Nobody conspiring to do anything except for these racist few who like to hear the sound of thier own voice.

And that is just what it is. A theory. And not a very intelligent one either. I could say the blacks did it so we would have to buy them new homes and dole out cash to them, but then I would sound as stupid as they are. Enough with the race blaming crap. It is getting REAL lame.
