I'm disappointed in Senator Coburn's questioning. He promised to determine if Judge Roberts is a strick constructionist, or at least to ask questions that would tend to discover that, and he did not do so.

I'll be writing Senator Coburn about this, but I wanted to post it here for public consumption.

in the hearings two days ago, Roberts willingly applied the title "strict constructionist" to himself. On Camera, in front of all of us who watched the hearings.

See the transcript from Tuesday, near the end of the day, when Lindsay Graham asked him about strict constructionism. I think you will be pleased with the answer.

It's obvious and has always been obvious that everytime Roberts says he respects THE LAW - the Dems get a cold chill in the pit of their fat bellys.....The Law, specifically, the US Constitution does NOT support Roe vs Wade. You may note that they dismiss Robert's sound knowledge of law as a "filibuster"
