It's not meaningless, who Roberts is replacing. This is Chief Justice stuff.I still say that he is replacing O'Conner's seat and Renquist's role.

TV challenged -- not clear as to what exchange provoked Senator Graham into the Ginsberg disclosure.

Nope. O'Connor is going to stay until the second justice is appointed.

It's not meaningless, who Roberts is replacing. This is Chief Justice stuff. What I mean is that I don't believe in quotoas, i.e. replacing a lib with a lib, or a woman with a woman, or a Black with a Black. I believe they are not replacing anyone, they are joining because they are the Presidents choice, period.

Nope. O'Connor is going to stay until the second justice is appointed. It figures she would.
Her last decision, is like all her other ones - outcome based.

Dear Senator Graham,
Thank you, Sir, for shoving Bader-Ginsberg right down their throats.
I have never witnessed such disrespectful, rude and vicious behavior on the part of the democrats. They should be ashamed, but like Bill Clinton, they lack that capability.
Sincerely and with profound thanks to you,

I'm watching C-SPAN and one of the witnesses that is going to testify against Roberts is on. She described herself as a pilgrim.
This is gonna be good.
In view of yesterday's Pledge of Allegiance decision, I don't expect her to be very well received.

Oh, I missed your point. Sorry.
I also hate appointments by Book of World Records: First Black this, First female that, First black female the other thing.

"My best guess is late Spetember, after Roberts is reported out of Committee or after his floor vote."
I would like to see it as soon as Roberts is confirmed Bush announces the next one. This will drive the RATS up the wall.

I think it will be of interest to watch closely the facial expressions of each speaker.
Betcha absolutely none of the Democratic speakers so much as smiles.
Watch closely.
