Roberts: Day Four Set to Begin
On Thursday, the members of the Senate Judiciary Cmte. continue with a third round of questioning. Then six different panels of out- side witnesses deliver their views on the professional and personal suitability of John Roberts to be appointed Chief Justice of the United States. This testimony will take the entire day.

Feinstein: "Here John." (tries to hand Roberts a new rope)
Roberts: "No thanks, Senator. You may need it more than I."
This can't be shown in the schools...Roberts is the answer to a prayer...no prayer in school. hehe
Thanks Chad, how are you?
channel 377 on direct tv is commercial free. pbsyou.org and it may be on the computer. do not know about that.
Excellent!
Feinstein keeps referring to Roberts 'The Man.' Like, you let the real man come out, which she appreciates.
I think I figured out what she's trying to do here. She's insinuating that not answering or being overly forthcoming in an answer makes him a sissy. Like questioning his manhood or something.
This lady really has issues relative to sexism, and it is scary.
I wonder if Diane will ask Roberts what he thinks of the national security implications of a U.S. senator's spouse doing business with Chinese Communists.
ROFL (if it wasn't true)
Feinswine - "I'm not a lawyer..."
When is it a contract and when is it a law??
Dianne is dumber than Landrieu? (it is a neck and neck race)
I feel smarter just listening to Judge Roberts.
Feinstein just got skewered on the 9 case study.
Roberts shows her as being lightweight.
She then either is not listening to Roberts response to the Gonzanga case or is just dumb.
This is silly. He is now talking to her like she is a first year law student - a slow one.
He just slammed her. Perfect answer. Said if congress would be specific in the laws they write.... he left her speechless.
Sheesh. This woman is making our laws?
SSDD. Sigh. I hope the Founding Fathers are spinning.
It should be illegal for this woman to have "einstein" as part of most of her last name. Because she is no "F'ing" Einstein.
Yep... that was funny. She was speechless.
There is no coherant theme or logic for the questions from Leaky, Teddy, or DiFi. They seem to be simply consuming airtime hoping for a clip on the News Hour or a quote in the NY Times.
