Hey, no laughing. This is series stuff. Surely FEMA is there, tending to the sick, dying and unlit.

Someone mentioned a couple of power surges just before the power dropped. I wonder if this has something to do with the massive solar activity they were talking about a couple of days ago. Did that already hit us? There is virtually no way a Solar Flare could affect our
power distribution, but nobody would have believed that
lighting strikes could destroy buried fiber-optic cable
until it happened either.

"In Nagin speak.. where the hell is FEMA! Haven't them fricken slackers gotten here yet!?"
Haven't you heard? Sen. Landrieu says it's hard to get govt workers to show up, even when it's a sunny day.

I guess its time for Bush to blow up the Levees in L.A., to start the drownings.

Quick, send generators! Where's the National Guard?
Has Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton appeared on camera to declare that poor people can't possibly afford generators? What's FEMA going to do about this? Where's the President during this crisis?

We can't have an emergency here without Burbank Karl! But he must have no power.
Long Beach has power.
