OK...I was able to find the story in the Sept 10 online edition of the NY Post. Apparently the photo was taken by a guy named Edward Keating. It's for real. Why Drudge has now taken reference to the story down is another matter.

You are correct Adam! Penn doesn't even know how to hold his weapon. Also, I've never seen a worst publicity stunt. Other than that, he is not needed in New Orleans with a weapon.
