Didn't see a thread so here's one to yakk on.
Given the group of subanimals who're running this thing, it has to degenerate into a nationally televised Wellstone memorial cubed. It may do President Bush more good than anything any of us could do.

Good to see Morgan Freeman. He's from the Greenwood/Charleston area of MS (same as I) and he managed to get through his bit [so far] without showing his leftist leanings. Probably one of the few celebs I'd really like to meet one day...
Instead of bothering with these twits I donated several hundred dollars worth of food and clothing that are now on their way to a large church-run shelter serving a devastated Mississippi community. At least I know every bit of the contribution will be put to direct use.

I have heard nothing but good about the Salvation Army. After I donated my whole saving to the United Way after 9-11 and they decided to "divert it to other causes" I have been VERY picky about who I donate to.
Oh boy, just saw that the Dixie Chicks are scheduled to headline this thing.

Please someone tell me if any one of these "celebrities" says anything even remotely anti Bush. I will call that number on the screen and tell whoever I speak with that I was going to contribute but now I am not. So there.
