UPDATE ON MY SISTER RENEE'S BABY!

 

 

Baby Alex DOES NOT have the severe complications with his heart that were a possibility~

He MAY have a small issue with one of the valves..but they do not seem super concerned at this moment...

 

They will have more consultations today, and come up with a birthdate~(She was originally scheduled for September 7th)

Well Auntie .... as this day draws to a close here in S. Texas, we just want you to know that our prayers are with the little one and his mommy & daddy.

I know that no words can take away the fear in your hearts and the knot in the pit of your stomachs. But know that we are all praying non stop for this baby and his well being.

***Baby Alex Update***

12:00 PST

 

 

Alex is out of Surgery as of 11:30 PST.

 

It had been delayed about 3 hours, and then the surgery took about 4 hours, so it has been a very long morning.

They were unable to do the procedure through the side like they had hoped.

 

So, he ended up having complete open heart surgery.

 

He is in recovery now.

 

Renee and Kirk were going to be meeting with the cardiac team ASAP, so they will know more after that.

 

They have also been told that they should get to see him around 12:30 or 1:30.

 

Thank you VERY VERY MUCH for your continued thoughts and prayers...

What a sweetie! Praise God for keeping Alex in his hands and answering our prayers. May He continue to heal this baby and guide his doctors so they may treat his every need. May God also comfort his parents and give them strength. Amen!

And.....now you're "fixed". So it's all going to be okay now sweet child. All of the prayer warriors are here night and day for you and your family.

We thank you Merciful God for the surgery being over and pray that it was totally successful. Give strength to this little one in the days ahead for a complete recovery. Comfort his parents and shower them with Your blessed love and mercy.
