NEW ORLEANS - Police shot eight people carrying guns on a New Orleans bridge Sunday, killing five or six of them, a deputy chief said.
Deputy Police Chief W.J. Riley said the shootings took place on the Danziger Bridge, which connects Lake Pontchartrain and the Mississippi River.
He said he had no other details.
Guaranteed to be played that way by the RATs and their trained sycophants, the MSM and black activist groups.

Big mistake here. You only need to shoot about 10 people to get the message out. Six in one pop on some bridge doesn't distribute the message around town. But then I guess there is really no looter hunting license limit in NO.
When will Bush and his thugs realize that these poor, "very black" (a la Wolfie) survivors only were roaming around with weapons, looting and killing, because of HIS OWN policies? If Bush had pulled out of Iraq in July when Cindy Sheehan told him to, NONE of this would have happened. Now innocent gang members are targeted.

Most people who lived in NO were black anyway (about 70 percent)...so it's not surprising that those who are left are mostly black...MSM people conveniently forget that reality when playing the race card...

I seriously doubt that many of the people roaming through New Orleans were looking for a battle-to-the-death gunfight. I really hope this doesn't all come down to the frazzled nerves and dumb actions of the New Orleans PD, by all accounts the worst, most inefficient police force in the country.

I sure hope they were thugs that were firing on the police and rescuers and not honest citizens that were armed for self-protection.
While I have much confidence in our National Guard and military personnel, I have not been so enamored by the NO PD.
I'm sure there are good people on that force; doing what they can under extreme conditions but...the No PD force is notoriously corrupt and inept. Saving an opinion until I hear more.
