Per AP on the FOX News Channel
NEW ORLEANS - Police shot eight people carrying guns on a New Orleans bridge Sunday, killing five or six of them, a deputy chief said.
Deputy Police Chief W.J. Riley said the shootings took place on the Danziger Bridge, which connects Lake Pontchartrain and the Mississippi River.
He said he had no other details.
Oh my God, nooooooo.
Uh oh .... it was just reported that the victims were Army Corps of Engineers CONTRACTORS.
Tell us you're (badly) joking ??
Wait for confirmation...
I hope, pray this report is not true..
LOL!
I'll bet there just might be a little something called a "law" designed to prevent hunting within city limits.
If these guys were white maybe they thought some skin head types where going to deal with the looting.
I heard that, too.
According to AP, on Fox now, some of Army Corps of Engineers were killed by police
CNN International is saying the Army Corp of Engineers contractors been shot.
So obviously NO Police were not returning fire.
Could this have been thugs with stolen police uniforms?
Damn! PLEASE don't be true!!
Oh, maybe you are right, on second thought.
AP is saying those shot on the bridge were contractors!!! FNC just announced
"Black police kill white contractors"
Again, more stereotypes. There are WHITE cops on NOPD and-hold your breath now-BLACK Army Corps of Engineer employees.
It's beijng reported that they weren't on the bridge they were on a levee repairing a break when they were shot. good God.
Why don't the rest of the NOPD officers turn in their badges? They are beyond worthless- they are deadly incompetent.
FNC is reporting that this has NOT been confirmed yet
But the AP is reporting they were contractors that were walking to the canal with regard to repairs needed there
. my breathe is gone. oh, God.
What a shame. I am not impressed with the NO police and wish the media would stop trying to turn them into heroes.
Were they security or engineers, anyone know?
