I've searched but can not find news of Rep Shelia Jackson Lee.
She represents the 18th Congressional District in the city of Houston, TX.
Why isn't Shelia in the Astrodome meeting, greeting and helping the victims from New Orleans, alongside the rest of the Houston volunteers?

She too busy looking for that American flag on Mars.
You'd need the Jaws of Life to pry Sheila Jackson Lee out of Washington, D.C.. Just ask her chauffeur.
...and they don't vote, either
I saw her in MSNBC last night but I didn't stop long enough to hear what she had to say.
On a true vacation?
Pimpin' for votes.
Hold the presses.
I found something about Jackson Lee and hurricanes!
***....Lee said she hoped in the future the weather establishment would try to be inclusive of African American names....***

I change channels when I see her face.
She was on O'Reilly also. He ripped her a new one for her racist comments.
Well, nothing is being reported.
Hurricane Mbutu?
Do tell.
Lee hasn't received her talking points from Hillary yet. Wait till Sunday and Russert's guests( the usual suspects more than likely) for the talking points to be released. Then on Tuesday Lee etal will begin to charge the Bush administration with everything from ineptness to racism.
I hear ya.
You don't really expect Queen Sheila to hand out food as Gov. Rick Perry did yesterday do you? She's part of the Congressional Black Conference. Their job is to bitch and moan and blame Pres. Bush for the fact that 68% of NO is black.
Yes. She figures she's much better off attacking whites to get votes in her poor district.
The people coming off the New Orleans buses can't vote for her, so they're not worth her time.
