The Last Orthodox Church in Kosovo Might Turn into a Night Club

Pristina. According to the new public planning the unfinished orthodox church “Christ, The Savior” in Pristina might be turned into a night club, a studio or a museum. The Parliament had reviewed the suggestion for the new reconstruction of the region on July 15. The plan includes the church and the students’ campus, the electronic edition Holy Gates of Christianity (www.dveribg.com) reports.

The Serbian church has not been informed about the initiative and had reacted sharply to it. “The Church has neither intention, nor the right to turn its sites whose foundations have already been dedicated, into night clubs or galleries. Though over 150 churches and monasteries have been destroyed or seriously damaged over the last 6 years, the new attempt at taking away the last Orthodox Church cannot be seen in any other way than as a wish for impeding the life of the Church and wiping out every single trace of the Serbian people and culture in Kosovo and Metohija”, a declaration of the Rasko-Prizren Eparchy reads.

" The Last Orthodox Church in Kosovo Might Turn into a Night Club "

That headline itself describes the downfall of Europe

My wife is Greek Orthodox and we were married in The Orthodox Church while I was stationed in Athens in 1991.

It's a beautiful religion, lots of tradition.

This is a damn shame.

Ping to this thread!

Aren't we glad we let Clinton bomb Serbia?

Another question, just what the heck does a muslim nightclub look like?

The Russians, Greeks, Romanians, Bulgarians, Armenians and the Serbs all belong to the Orthodox branch of Christianity. (This is not a complete list)

This timeline is a good concise explanation of how we got here...

...what the heck does a muslim nightclub look like?

In this case, it might look a lot like a latrine. he muslim Turks and Albanians turned more than one Kosovo Orthodox church into a latrine during the first Ottoman occupation. (The one right now is the second occupation.)

In the central city of our metropoltian area, the rich and decadent "Euros" who party every night in nightclubs that don't get going until 2 AM are mainly not really Europeans, but muslims. Yes, they drink alcohol, and break quite a few other of their muslim laws. But they still despise the "infidels", a few of whom provide the facilities for their revels and fawn all over them and their money, and most of whom use the wee hours of the morning for sleep. So I guess that the Mercedes-driving international criminal class in Kosovo can have their nightclubs, too.

Yeah and we and NATO made that down fall happen in Kosovo, how proud of us. But then again, not one of our generals said a word when Clinton ordered bombings on both Catholic and Orthodox Easters.

Uh, is this the Russian Orthodox church?

It is the Serbian Orthodox Church which was founded in 1219.

Orthodox Churches are basically set up by nationality but are all interconnected.

RBL has' bin laid already, so his energy is exhausted.

I see a few oddities on the balkan threads, anyone point them out? I've noticed it since 2000 and the trend continues...... Let's see if we can have destro/despero point them out? by the way, go to LF and you will notice he is somewhat of an anti-jew type.

PS - not all is what they seem to be.
