San Diego, besides sending dozens of rescue and
a 30 person special medical team that worked NYC
at 9/11 the other day to La. We are now sending
several Navy choppers and crews from North Island
Naval Air Station here where the Prez just spoke
the other day.
These are some of the same who worked the Tsunami
before going to Iraq. They are off again.
Catholic Charities will get the money down there.

Anderson Cooper is losing it on CNN!
Over at the NJ-locale board someone posted a notice from the NJ National Guard, several locations around the state are accepting cases of bottled water only from anyone who wants to donate. That's their priority, getting potable water to as many people as they can.
I learned from Shep things that I could never learn anywhere else.
I felt the horror and confusion and the hunger and the frustration that comes when all lines of communication are broken down and anarchy is allowed to build.
Shooting was going on in the highway below him as he spoke to Sean.
People are thristy...ones that have made it to the highway, and children and mothers approach Shep for water and food.
People are dropped off to the drier highway from all points in NO and have NO WHERE to go from there.
I expect that every reporter there, especially those caught there with, themselves, no way out, are experiencing tragedy in a way they never have before.
And I don't care if Shep is a liberal or a republican right now, he is trying to do his job and is under a stress that comes from having to live what you are reporting, with perhaps a better supply of water and food, but with no leaving to go to the nearest yuppie bar and have a few evening cocktails when the reporting is done.
He is always dramatic. He is a drama queen, for sure.
So what.
He's trying to win awards by using dead bodies as props. He's a whore.
The ACLU will be there when the looters are arrested under Martial Law and no Miranda!
