Reports are the pipelines from LA to AL,MS,GA,NC,VA, all the way to NY are at very low capacity. Is you area out of gas yet or being rationed? What are you hearing? This will be very helpful for those who are traveling in the near future.
Oregon, WI. Price lept by 20-cents overnight. I paid $2.85 today for half a tank, just to get it before it went up again.
There were two other people getting gas at the same time. No panic in our area.
Some places in Madison, WI are already charging $3.25/gallon. They're hosing people, plain and simple.
Filled up at 1:00 p.m. at $2.45 per/g. Passed station at 1:45p.m. and it was $2.78 per/g. Brother in law in Orlando says they are running out.
Just in case there's anyone who doesn't already know about this sight. Here is the link for cheapest gas locater in your areas.

With his competitors underselling him by about 2 bucks a gallon, I'm willing to let the free market work its magic.
Seattle area jumped a dime. Not too bad.
Went from $2.69 - $2.99 yesterday and up to $3.29 and even $3.49 today in Milwaukee.
I stopped in a station that said $3.05, but it was closed with a sign saying they were out of gas.
Same thing in Memphis. Hear talk/rumors of rationing. Nothing on the news about that yet. When I filled up there was only premium left. They were out of the two lower grades.
People are topping off out of panick and that's what will cause a shortage...This will be a problem if people don't chill out quick!
$2.57 this am and $3.19 this pm
Lawrenceburg Kentucky
Out here in Pahrump NV (Yes.. art bell land lol)
Gas today was 2.99 for the cheap stuff
$2.76 for 87 octane in Fairfax County, VA at around 1800EDT Today.
Essentially unchanged from yesterday.
We'll see what tomorrow brings.
I also wanted to add that they'll be hosing everyone to the extent that they can get away with it as it is the Labor Day Weekend.
I see people cutting back on S'mores around the campfire, more than I see them cutting back on gasoline. Do you realize that if you liquified Hershey Bars, that a gallon of chocolate would be 10X the price of a gallon of gas these days?
Priorities, People! Priorities! ;)
$20 gave me a couple of weeks gas in my tank.
Hopefully things will settle down by then!
I'm in Florida, my mom told me she heard Jeb say that the state had 5 days supply.
I wouldn't mind rationing, but rationing in this way.
You could only buy 10 gallons at a time.
If a person wanted to hit three gas stations to fill up their tank, sobeit, let them go to the trouble.
But the average person is going to get their 10 gallons and not come back till they need another 10.
IMHO, this won't necessarily conserve gas, but it would even out the supply and demand issues if the rate that fuel flows into each state is slowed.
I paid $2.98 for regular today just before the owner changed the prices. Most everyplace else here (Milwaukee) is already $3.29. Wish I'd filled up 2 days ago.
Went up to $2.70 something when I was out today. Not sure if it's risen since the afternoon.
Kroger gas stations closed - out of gas as of 11am this morning. Central Kentucky
Filled the tanks on our cars Sunday for $2.41/gallon; unleaded now up to $3.13/gallon in WRJ, in the People's Republic of Vermont. Since it is about a mile or so to work; that should last us a while :-)
