Hate to say this, but I don't see that they could have done anything else. The ONE hospital that's still working in the NO area is swamped, and there's about no way to get to it anyway...
On WWL they are reporting that if you live in St. Bernard Parish that you better be prepared to rebuild because everything is underwater up to the rooftops.
I recognize they could not have saved him....but, they should have treated the situation without just flat ignoring her.
