Exactly. The AJC put out the story earlier about the pipelines, but failed to mention that we get a lot of our gas from the coastal ports. And failed to mention that they expected the pipelines to be functional again over the weekend. There wasn't a shortage, until the news suggested there might be. From there everyone rushed out (I was considering it, but decided against), and now we do have a shortage. And its spreading nationwide.
Gas is $2.69 at a Shell station on Ga. 141 in Norcross. Small lines. It is $2.79 at a BP in North Springs.
They started it this morning at 5:00am on WSB with stories of "possible" gas shortages in ATL.
