Gas is $2.69 at a Shell station on Ga. 141 in Norcross. Small lines. It is $2.79 at a BP in North Springs.
Some BP Station in Stockbridge, just outside of ATL, is charging $5.87/gal.
Husband just drove from Duluth to Cumming via Suwanee Dam Road to Buford Dam Road to 369. Said cars were lined up at stations. Gas at the new station on corner of Buford Dam Road & road that runs through Habersham was 3.49.
He said Captain Herb was saying "Don't line up on the highways!"
Told him the panic was in response to an urban rumor not shortage, but sure was glad we both gassed up last night! LOL!
