CRAWFORD, Texas - A woman who led an anti-war protest for nearly a month near President Bush's ranch said Tuesday that she's glad Bush never showed up to discuss her son's death in Iraq, saying the president's absence "galvanized the peace movement."

Cindy Sheehan's comments came as war protesters packed up their campsite near the ranch and prepared to leave Tuesday for a three-week bus tour.

"I look back on it, and I am very, very, very grateful he did not meet with me, because we have sparked and galvanized the peace movement," Sheehan told The Associated Press. "If he'd met with me, then I would have gone home, and it would have ended there."

"...her son's death in Iraq, saying the president's absence "galvanized the peace movement."

I think it galvanized the President's supporters more than the Commie-loving peaceniks!

First thing that crazy woman has said that I agree with.

"If he'd met with me, then I would have gone home, and it would have ended there." And she continued, "I wouldn't be a raking in all that dough and I wouldn't be a fabulous famous person." She DID meet with the Pres. The lies continue...

"...a three-week bus tour..."

That's interesting. I'd like to know who can afford not to work and piss away three weeks, plus the time they've already spent down in Tx.

Well well w ell, you mean she didn't really want to meet with him after all? Tsk Tsk, one could think this was all just a staged ploy to bring him down financed by say, George Soros if one didn't know she was just a grieving Mom! /sarcasm

I'm grateful, too, because if he did (again) every loon and crackpot would try the same thing. He's the PRESIDENT of the UNITED STATES, not some third-rate city official. We mourn the loss of your son, but we also mourn your loss of dignity, and the dishonor you bring to him and his sacrifice.

Maybe you need to de-tox a bit, Cindy.

Your use of halucinogens, alcohol, and pipedreams are a deadly combination......for the rest of us!

20.00 says she read this quote off a card handed to her by a Moveon. She is full of it, she knows as do her handlers that Katrina has taken crazy cindy off of the frontpage. Just like the Roberts announcement took Rove off..

What a nasty thing to say...including the memory of a murdered girl along with this crazy lunatic. You've been saying some really outrageous things lately. Not cool.

She's delusional. Jihad Cindy is trying to spin a whole month with nothing to show for it. Good grief, she's the one who demanded to meet the President a second time. Now she's glad he didn't! These liberals, these leftists are just amazing. The color of the sky is green and the grass is blue! I mean, one day they wake up and think exactly the opposite of what they were thinking before. Try having a dialogue with these people. No wonder President Bush wouldn't take the bait. He's labeled by Lefties a moron but turns out he's a pretty smart guy and he's too busy taking time to hand-hold a mother who can't even get past her grief to go on with her life. I'm so glad August is almost over. I'm just about had it up to here with Jihad Cindy and so have millions of my fellow Americans. Good riddance!

"I'm just curious, I have not heard your answer to this."

"Excuse me?"

"I have not heard your answer, if you wouldn't mind."

"I have two minutes."

"You have two minutes?"

"I have two minutes, so, um, he was- George Bush acted like were at tea party. He was rude to us, and we felt worse than we did after we met with him."

"Mm-hmm. I didn't realize you just had two minutes, we thought we had more time with you today, but uh, I did want to ask, I know you're planning to, when President Bush comes back to Washington, to continue the protest here in Washington DC."

"Yeah, we're taking a bus tour to Washington DC and we're all meeting there Sept 24 for the big Untied for Peace and Justice war protest."

"You did get a chance to meet with some of his senior advisors a couple of weeks ago. Did you get a chance - did they listen to you or did they talk to you?"

"Hello?"

"Hello. Did they listen to you, or did they talk to you?"

"Hello?"

"Yes Hi."

"Um I didn't hear your question. I'm sorry we have a really bad connection."

Think about it. What she is saying is that the whole purported purpose of her campout was a false pretense. Of course, Freepers knew that all along, but to tell that to the rest of America... talk about shooting herself in the foot.
