Well, they are ideal bugout vehicles, except for their short range and poor fuel economy. They're simple, if it breaks down you can take parts off of abandoned Fords, GMs, and Chryslers to make it run again, and it can definitely run offroad if needed.

Agreed. While they are profoundly imperfect, I've long felt that the most redeeming characteristic of my Grand Wagoneer is it ability to move under its own power even when it has all kind of things wrong with it.

Which is a good thing, because they never, ever have nothing wrong with them.

It breaks on me a lot. But it never leaves me on the side of the road.

You do know why they call it a Grand Wagoneer, don't you? ;-)
