Neil Cavuto is addressing the issue of help for us.
"Where is the global relief for us"
"The silence is defeaning"
"The water in NO isn't the only thing that stinks"

It seems we all forget that when the world needs help, we as Americans and the richest nation on earth Help. Surely there is nothing another nation could offer us to compare with our generosity, in fact they don't have it to offer. (/sarcasm)

I was wondering when the UN was going to start calling other countries "stingy."

We are alone in this as we are pretty much alone in the WOT. I suspect our friends in the UK will not let us down, but the rest of the world, I wouldn't hold my breath on...

Cavuto should stop whining. We don't help other countries because we expect them to help us back. It's nice if and when they offer (and they will), but we're big enough to handle it ourselves if they don't.

I did a search on Google News for: "United Nations" hurricane. Nothing of note.
I did a search on Google News for: France chirac "new orleans">.
This is the only article I came up with:
http://www.etherzone.com/2005/sent082905.shtml
"Kofi Annan's hastily called meeting of UN members has produced a unanimous decision to send massive aid to the United States for the reconstruction of New Orleans.
Iran jumped onboard very quickly. Supreme leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, stated emphatically that, "the generosity of the Americans after our two recent earthquakes must be returned. We were only waiting for an American disaster anyway to return the money, and this is of the scale that we believe is just and right. America, through my good friend President Bush, sent us millions of American dollars after our earthquakes. Bam has already been rebuilt by American dollars. Iran will rebuild New Orleans." "
Snicker. Funny.

"Where is the global relief for us" No other countries offer to help us.
Not even after 9/11.
Except for the one middle eastern guy that offered Rudy G. ten million and Rudy told him to "Stuff it" (basically.)
