I am ashamed of them....and they have shamed us all, in broad daylight, announced to all the world, the Ugly Americans.

well, the food I can understand...there is no aid being dropped into the city....
but jewelry....oh well.
you can guess what neighborhoods will be flattened during the rebuilding....if there is a rebuilding....
There are criminals in every culture and at every disaster. Anyone who says this is the Ugly American is playing into the hands of those who hate us.
These are our young thugs, present in every civilized country on earth. They only don't exist in places with repressive governments who shoot them on sight. We give them trials and lawyers. And that is the right thing to do.
THey have not shamed me and shouldn't shame any of us.
