Freepers beware of any too good of a deal on a car. Check for water lines in the doors and trunk. Cars will be totaled because of flood damage but someone can then try to sell them for a good price, often shipped to other parts of the Country.

I know this will sound a tad selfish, but I'm looking for Metairie-specific photos, if they are available.

My brother is with me right now and he lives near Power Blvd. and I-10 and is wondering if he has a house worth going back to now that the storm has passed.

Will the Media ask One Question for me?

How many people from the 9th ward (who made up the majority of those folks in the SuperDome, will now volunteer to help the National Guard with the Cleanup?

I will bet you the question does not get asked.
I will bet you the answer is ZERO

New Orleans is the Perfect Example of a Welfare State.
The folks in the Ninth Ward do ZERO except to Party, Vote for the people that will enhance their Welfare condition and on a Regular basis collect pretty good size Welfare Checks and just keep pumping out them babies.

I hope that at bare minimum that those folks have to do something other than just point to get their couch or TV replaced.
