Looters should be shot and killed, then displayed publicly as a discouragement to other potential looters.

AMEN!!!!

Only the scum from the bottom of the sewer would steal from victims of tragedies.

They suck so low that they don't even realize that sucking is wrong.

The stories from WWII about the RC charging for coffee etc, was done by the International Red Cross, not the American Red Cross. If you are ever in a real major disastor, fires etc, you will thank the ARC, believe me.

they almost seem disappointed.

No, they don't.

You all need to stop that crap; we're in the middle of a tragedy here and you mischaracterizing things that are said is most certainly NOT helpful.

It was Thanksgiving and that black couple that had worked so hard to get a really nice home was hit and he was killed.

Those were nice big houses, too. The only reason more people weren't killed is because they were away for Thanksgiving. Sad.

So. Cal is a cess-pool. My whole family used to be there- now only a couple still are there and they will probably leave after retirement.

Hi JRabbit. I'm a Slidell resident as well and am experiencing the same frustration of not being able to find out about our area.

Please ping me if you get any further info about Slidell. I'm in Tennessee with very limited access to internet and not getting any info from TV.

Thanks.

Now that was terrible. We had a tornado here a couple of years ago killed one person and did so much damage that a lot of other should have been, but somehow were spared.

Not another dime of mine will ever go to the Red Cross.

Only to the Salvation Army, or Samaritan's Purse (headed by Franklin Graham)

Just think of what would have happened if they were hit head on. NO would be no more.

I have, all the time.

My point was that if massive flooding hits there, they'll be down. We're talking about a huge financial impact on the Ms. Delta, which is poor anyway.

Look how huge that area is they are looking at now.........and imagine hundreds of miles which may be even worse than that.

They just showed the radar during a commercial break. If you're near Paris (which I'm guessing), some strong bands (that show yellow/red on the radar) are about 20-30 miles south of you.

That's a good streaming of Ch. 6 --- still on .. showed that helicopter rescue. Unbelievable .. you could see the holes in the roof the guy had carved out .. and then the rescue. Thank God .. they're saying there's probably at least 100 people that need to be rescued from roofs .. but I'm not sure where. Hope they have flashlights .. it will be sadly dark too soon.

They're also showing the Yacht Club fire. The flooding is massive everywhere except in an amazing dry area right next to the flooding area. Hard to figure out why, unless the levee break was the major factor.

We have gray skies here in Ohio already too.

This storm is still massive.

On the way home tonight, a caller to the local radio station heard from his parents and he mentioned the USS Alabama. However, he said it wasn't the USS Alabama that was missing but a C130.

I'm sure I'd accept a sandwich and a bed from Michael Jackson if he offered them.

LOL..he wouldn't, b/c you're too old for him.

It would make sense. I'm a little slow posting pix, and what I get is mostly availabe to others. What I'd really like to see is firsthand accounts when they get out of there.
