Mary needs to shut her mouth and quite laying blame on others depending on the letter at the back of their name.
Yes, have you ever seen a "big box" type building get hit by a windstorm BEFORE they get the roof on? The walls just fall over because there is no bracing to resist the force of the wind. The need for bracing would probably be lessened due to the circular design of the wall enclosure. With the roof gone, the tops of the walls and the "upper deck" would probably be the next to go.
From the rain? Or a levy failure?
Not sure, sorry, the lady did say the rain was actually bleeding in around the windows (not flood waters, but rain, just want to specify)
Remember folks in big hurricanes double wides don't fare too well. Gigantic domes of concrete and steel are most likely up to the task.
Trailer <> Superdome.
Wow that's the 1/12 of the roof? I guess you have to be there to see how big it is.
8 ft. of flooding in areas affected by Betsy. Residents climbing up to the attics to avoid the water.
"""The Saints have been getting blown away in the Super Dome
for 40 years and they survived."""
Oh that's good! Maybe the overpayed players will actually find it in them to give their weary fans a well deserved reason to hope this year, win at least 2 playoff games. That's not too much to ask of them at this time.
LOL! That'll be a classic.
fox...flooding up to ceilings on some homes in NOLA
ROFLMAO! You're bad :-)
Look, I'm sure you think that you're a great comedian, but at this critical time, give it a rest. There are people currently trapped under that rubble.
Hurricanes and tornadoes love trailers.
Your tagline is my two little boys favorite SpongeBob episode...
anyone listening to the structural engineer on Fox talking about the SuperDome roof?
Big "box" stores are nothing more than concrete block or steel walls, with a truss span roof... They aren't stadiums, but minimalistic structures to offer the maximum amount of covered sq ft for the lowest possible cost.
OMG! Too funny!!!
lmafo!!
