Just talked to Basil on site in Crawford, Texas. Currently there are about 100 folks there helping to set up. They have not received word about the caravan arrival in Waco yet. JimRob is riding with the caravan. She thinks it might get to Crawford around 1:00 p.m.
Basil says the stage is set up, the sound system is excellent and they have hung the most beautiful banners overnighted by W04Man on the stage. A big thanks for the banners, they are much appreciated!
Someone arrived early and hung yellow ribbons everywhere.
They have an American flag that is about 50 feet by 40 feet. Children of military personnel serving in the Middle East have written notes to their parents on the stripes of this flag. A very touching thing to behold.
The HOT Chapter booth is being unloaded right now. The will sell buttons made by Angelwood to help off set costs.
Someone rented the Community Center for our use so there is access to AC. However, they also have 10 tents set up. And there is a Moonwalk for the kiddos.
To top everything else there is BBQ on the grill! Basil is the official taster and says it is great!
That is all the news I have at the moment. It is hard to get a cell phone connection to Crawford but when I hear more I will try to update everyone.
Wow, you are along way away. I would have only had to drive 5 hours. I am determined not to miss out if there is ever anything going on within 6 hours of OKC.

I just checked my e-mail and found an e-mail from John Kasich, Fox's anchor for their "Heartland" show. It was an automated response but he assures me that all e-mails are read and he appreciates them. That's the first time I've EVER gotten a response from Fox. Maybe Mr. Kasich will actually say something about Crawford today, IF his show is "live" and not pre-recorded. I do enjoy his show and he seems to have deep moral values and support for our President, the War on Terror, and our military.

Delay is one of my favorite Republicans. He has support all over this country. Delay and his wife have done so much work to help foster kids. I'd vote for him for President in 2008.

I try not to miss Michael Medved. Usually catch Rush while working my horses in the round pen, dip in and out of Sean, and then go to Michael.
Because of my profession I am very concerned with cultural trends and Medved is very good on that.
RE: Geraldo in New Orleans . . . what would you give to see him whacked by a huge sign, ala one of the reporters in "The Day After Tomorrow"? I think they're TRYING to get rid of him with all the dangerous places they send him . . .
