This man has shown more care, consideration and sorrow than our idiot Liberal friends. He deserves our respects!

Absolutely!

And I think the symbolism is just right too. You have a perfect edge outside, which is cracked in the middle, symbolizing the attack, and the teardrop as a reminder, so that we never forget 9-11.

The MSM and the liberals don't even want to talk about it anymore, but we must remember, so there won't be another one.

Think of it as the projection of engineering design, from outside it looks like a solid, strong piece (USA) yet inside there is sorrow and pain and tears(the people's cries).

I don't know the designer, but I think this memorial is an inspired one, and captured the spirit and the memory.

And you can't question his goodwill of doing this for the US.

I don't expect to see any of you three here, let alone to make a positive comment. Might blow a gasket.

September, 13, 1991 from http://www.newsru.com/russia/13sep2001/book.html
Any person can leave his condolences in a book placed at southern entrance of the US embassy in Moscow, according to RIA “Novosti”.
The book was placed at 9 a.m. for everybody who wants to express compassion to the US people on the 9/11 tragedy. All that time Moscovites have been bringing flowers to the walls of the embassy. Among them there are many Americans who happened to be in Russia at the time of the tragedy. Every single minute new flowers were layed to the walls of the Embassy. When asked why they had come, the people answered : “Sympathy. All my family is shocked by the what happened”. There are icons, lit candles and a slogan “We are together with you” at the walls of the embassy.

I don’t know wherever the Russians don’t have own artist if they are claiming that Zurab Tsereteli is Russian. Of course he is 100% Georgian and he is only living and working in Russia! Maybe they will admit that Stalin was Russian too? :-)

Zurab Tsereteli

Zurab Tsereteli (Georgian: born January 4, 1934 in Georgia) is a Georgian painter, sculptor and architect who graduated from the Academy of Arts in Tbilisi.

Tsereteli was appointed professor in the Russian Academy of Arts (of which he later was elected a president) and president of the Foundation for the Children's Park of Miracles in Moscow, Russia in 1988. Later he founded the Moscow International Foundation for Support to UNESCO.

He was elected vice-president of the Russian Academy of Creative Endeavors and the president of the International Center of Design in 1993, as well as president of the International Academy of Information Science in 1994.

Have we done anything like this for Russia? It would be nice if we did, but offhand I can't think what would be appropriate. Most things have political overtones one way or another.

A simple friendship monument from the American people (not our leaders) would be a nice gesture.

I grew up being terrified by the Russians. Then I saw a funny movie called, "The Russians are Coming", and things started going uphill for me after that. I like the Russian people what little I know about them, and I love their culture and literature.

The last few nights I've been reading three or four short stories by Chekhov in new paperback books. For some reason I'm drawn to him more than any other Russian writer. He seemed to be such a sensitive and insightful person.

I was wondering how long it would take you to troll your way here. Longer then I thought.

Lukasz Russian Hatred Obsession/Agenda

The threads that Lukasz has been on, sampled from 12 Aug -17 Aug

Ukraine wants to deepen economic relations with Russia

http://www.themoscowtimes.com/stories/2005/08/16/041.html

Ukraine, Georgia fuming over planned Russian sex film

WHAT IS BEHIND THE GROWING TENSION IN RUSSIAN-POLISH RELATIONS?

Poland Appeals to Russia to Stop Attacks [against Polish diplomats and a journalist]

EU challenges Putin (Fourth Reich on move alert!)

Russia considers sanctions against Moldova

That's 7 out 13 threads dealing directly with Russia. He also goes out of his way to spread hatred on the following other threads that originally had nothing to do with Russia till Luki here made it so. So that's another 5 out of 13 threads total. So in other words, the man who accuses others of "obsession and one agenda posting" is driven by either personal or paid hatred of Russians on 12 out of 13 threads.

Far-Rightists Target 'Judeo-Nazis' in the Ukraine

Germany may become Ukraine’s promoter in EU

The first lesson in schools will be devoted to European Union (brainwashing kids for the EU)

The pride of 'people without a country'

Whome of the politicians do we trust most of all? (Western/Central Ukraine)

Lukasz is an anti-Russian bigot, I just can't figure out if he does this for pay (he's a massive EU cheerleader) or out of personal hatred (very popular in Poland right now). I did a sampling of 5 days of his posting threads. Of 13 threads, he attacked Russians directly on 7 Russian related threads and attacked Russians directly on 5 threads having nothing to do with Russians, but he actively moved the conversation to his agenda. So on 12 out of 13 threads over a spread of 5 days he was consistently on only one theme.

This is called a one agenda poster, usually a troll.

I guess my troll-o-meter wasn't working. I'm not anti-Russian, anti-Eastern bloc, just wish they could all respect one another and rebuild their countries after the devastation of communism which affected all of them. I suppose some old hatreds die hard, and there is still a lot of resentment, as per the recent murders or beatings of Russians by some Polish people.

Typical answer from "jb6". I pointed out the obvious FACT that Zurab Tsereteli is GEORGIAN not Russian like article claimed. He just hasn't argument to argue with me and that is why he prefer personal attacks. Of course in Stalist style, posting few links that nobody will read anyway and there is nothing wrong from my side.

No, it's not a personal attack, it just showing your a one agenda poster, who finds every thread (ok not every 12 out of 13) as podiums for your attacks. In other words, you'd choke and die before saying something honestly nice about a Russian. (well those were the words of my wife, and they're more to the point then mine).

I can't help myself asking: do you actually get paid for this polling? I'd like to know so at least we can do some donations via PayPal. :)
