*Let's get one thing straight..I've not been drinking* But he was so good! With the alphabet..which I could never do...to adding several nifty dance steps to the officer's DUI test...but he really impressed me when he only took an instant to realize when he blew it.
That's a man I admire. And did you see those legs? They go on forever!

I love the older classics. Although most new movies are flashy special affects generated on an outsourced computer somewhere, the only special affects on the classics, were the actors themselves. That's what separates the good from the great.

For the most part of that, I agree.
But one has to be fair to new actors and cinematographers.
Some of the are quite good.

Oh, don't get me wrong. I like new movies because they've made strides in color, sound, presentation, all of which has contributed to quality movies. The downside, is the acting is spotty. Whereas, with the old classic, except for Alfred Hitchcock, the story and actor made the movie. Hitchcock could take a so-so actor and the movie would be a hit.

Seven did you catch this on Drudge, it seems that the self-proclaimed president of Turkmanistan doesn't like recorded music and has banned it throughout his country. Also he closed down all hospitals except those in the capitol. This is the same guy who renamed eleven months on the official calendar after his relatives. I wonder if he, Hugo Chavez, and Mini-Me were seperated at birth...
