Jack's best movie was One Flew over The Cuckoos Nest..
De Niro was awesome as Satan in Angel Heart..
But they both are kinda creepy!

"King of Hearts" definitely a favorite here, too. (My list went way over 10, pared it down... and that's just what I could remember). Saw King of Hearts numerous times.

He's free, but actually in a box. He'll make a mistake and step over the line...then BAM, and it won't be Emeril.

I could have made my whole list just from Duvall movies. He is not only one of the greatest actors, he is one of the most unsung; but I think that's how he likes it. He lives in Virginia and acts like a local. He used to own a little restaurant until a couple of years ago. One of my friends and I went there for lunch just dying to see him, and he came in with his girlfriend and sat down with his back to the room -- no one was supposed to come up and bother him, so we didn't, even though both of us are Capricorns like him and were feeling like teenagers seeing a sports hero or one of the kids from Bandstand! But I was seated to one side, so I kept checking his profile. Whatta guy. Surprisingly short -- maybe 5'7" at the most. But who's counting?

I posted a list at # 232 yesterday. Someone noticed that I love Robert Duvall, and gave him 4 spots on my top 10!
But I thought about it all night and decided I must make two lists: Top Ten American films and Top Ten Foreign films. So here's my amended lists:

Gone with the Wind
Godfather 1 & 2
O Brother Where Art Thou
Passion of the Christ
Braveheart
The King and I
The Great Santini
The Apostle
Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood
The LIfe Aquatic
The French Connection
Foreign, in no particular order:

Good afternoon Troops, Veterans, family members, Canteen, and Lurkers:
How's everyone doing today?
MoJo and crew are cleaning and getting a few things in order. MoJo's intentions were to
concentrate on getting these things done. Of course, that wasn't going to happen.
Between the neighbors and folks calling, I'm doing too well. Oh well!
Of course I could refuse to answer the phone, but I can't. I love to talk. Hehe!Anyhoo, below is a preview of the Canteen Music Dedication beginning Friday night!
Hope to see you all. We're going to have another Sampler Music Mix this weekend.
Perhaps you can guess what we're doing, but don't be too sure. These songs may not
even make the playlist.
Fatman Scoop - Be Faithful (Clean Version)
*Not for Ma because it has rhythm. Hehe!
The SOS Band - Take Your Time (Do It Right)
Rod Stewart - Young Turks
University Of Illinois Marching Band - Illini Drumline
*Outta love for Jonathan, MoJo will refrain from saying anything about the Illini football team.
Mendelssohn - Wedding March from *A Midnight Summer Night's Dream
Tommy Jackson - Cotton Eyed Joe
*Bluegrass
Cowboy Troy - Do Your Thang
Have a great day everyone!! *HUGS* to all!!
