Impeachment for free golf outings paid for by friends and relatives, not reported.

LMAO! Impeachment for the legal equivalent of a jaywalking ticket. That's overkill. I don't hold any brief for RINO Bob Taft but he pleaded no contest to MISDEAMEANORS. And its questionable if they involved breaking any laws in a criminal sense. But if the Democrats want to pursue such an unpopular route, they're welcome to be our guest!

Taft made a big mistake. Had he raped women, sold technology to the ChiComs, destroyed evidence, suborned and committed perjury, and intimidate witnesses, the Democrats would love him.

The gifts were worth about $5,800 and given over four years.

If he plead guilty and admitted his actions, I say keep him in office because he more honest than those politicans who want to impeach him.

Nah, they aren't going to impeach him- just whine about it and get all the press mileage they can with him in office. Taft makes a good effigy of the Republican Party in Ohio and this is gonna hurt like hell the next election cycle.

It seems the dems of Ohio are trying to destroy Blackwell's chances before the game even starts.

The dems are using impeachment carelessly after the Repubs impeached Clinton.

He deserves to be impeached, but not for the golf outings. Blocking Concealed Carry, subsidies for a "high tech" porkbarrel, etc. are sufficient justification.

It should be Ohio Republicans impeaching him, not Democrats.

Impeachment is for High Crimes and misdemeanors folks.

Democrats are milking this for all it's worth, while Republicans are standing around like a group of Frenchmen. Taft doesn't have to be the downfall of Ohio Republicans, but he will be if our party doesn't start standing up to him now.

It should be Republicans calling for his removal, not Democrats. We should be beating the Democrats to the punch. Ohio Republicans will either stand against Governor Trash's corruption or be clubbed by it.
