Just on Fox & Friends the "newsreader" who is subbing for Steve Deucy said that the Pentagon has today released a statement denying that any military intelligence unit had identified Atta prior to 9/11.
Nothing from other sources. Nothing on Google News search.

I wish that was true. but I'm afraid it's just a consulting period trying to determine what the American people will live with for punishment.
As for Clinton, Gorelick et al; they are immune from prosecution under the "Democrats Do No Wrong" clause of the Constitution.

Atta's name has not yet been found on any Pentagon documents. DOD still looking. That is a radically different story. Remember, it took 3 years to find the Rose Law Firm billing records in the White House under the toons.
Also remember, absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.

There were Pubbies sitting on that commission, too. They went along with everything that was done, including the decision to do without an official, verbatim transcript of testimony taken by the commission.

I think these are some of the early shots being fired in this war. LTC Shafer (sp?) probably has more info and/or others will come to support him.

And since the commission refused to keep a transcript of the procedings, I think the onus should be on
them to prove what they're saying is true.
Dang it, a transcript would have settled this all darn quick.

"Atta's name has not yet been found on any Pentagon documents. DOD still looking."
- According to the statements by the Colonel who was attached to Able Danger and who has spoken out, the information collected by that group would fill 40+ briefcases. It's hard to believe that the Pentagon could wade through all that in 24 hours and declare that Atta's name didn't appear anywhere.

Tony Snow is trying to make this story his own, big time. He had both Shaffer and Weldon on yesterday morning and has promised more. He also flat out stated that he was skeptical of the Pentagon mysteriously not being able to find the documents (though he hinted it wasn't the current Pentagon he blamed for their "disappearance"). He also made a very strong statement that there were other copies and implied that he knows where they are, or knows who knows.
This truly is a war, and could actually lead to people shooting at each other, both rhetorically, as they are now, and physically.
If there are folks who could seriously be charged with treason in this, what's the likelyhood that they'll go quietly?

I want my Damn country Back! This is pathetic. I feel we are being purposefully twisted and manipulated to the point we just give up all hope of a Constitutional Government.
Clearly the 9/11 farce commission was from day one nothing more than a political dog and pony show. Both Republicans and Democrats contributing to the game show like atmosphere though the Democrats certainly carried the disgusting rhetoric and accusations.
We all know Clinton was at best incompetent and more likely than that both incompetent and a criminal. Lets not forget China gate and the real reason "the wall" was erected. Now we have a GOP who seems not concerned with truth but the same Cover Your Ass politics we constantly accuse Democrats of. Does anybody in Washingtion tell the truth.

If this is a Clintonian CYA operation by the Pentagon, Gorelick, Clintonistas and career cronies then heads *must* roll. If this is a CYA operation then it is one instigated by the W Bush team to cover Bubba's as*, the newly 'adopted' son of G H Bush ;-)

10 to1 they knew but the actual report transcripts have been shreded.
This is typical MO within LE when the one making the complaint they like less than the criminal against whom they must do their jobs.

Miklaszewski, who has good connections in the building, said they are still looking. He also said officials there now are not embarrassed by what happened on the previous regime's watch.
To: leadpenny
Forget embarrassed. They ought to be mad as HECK.

When I heard yesterday that Kean had asked for documentation that the Pentagon knew about Atta(prior to 9/11) and that they were 'looking' -- I knew that 'looking'... really meant 'shredding'.

Titanic again.
The system is corrupt coz they want to employ citizens and not have the citizens employ gov.
So when there's a big sink crack hole throughout the length of the boat, they don't want to quite jump ship yet or feign. They don't have the Cojones for a Constitutional crisis.
