Here's the more detailed plans for our event in Crawford on SATURDAY, AUGUST 27.
I have been in contact with the organizer of the Move America Forward Caravan Planner. We decided that the best place to meet up with the caravan is in Waco. We can meet in the WalMart parking lot at the intersection of I-35 and Lake Shore. That is on the west side of I-35.
I would suggest that if you plan to follow the caravan in from Waco, that you be at the parking lot no later than 11:45--they may be running later, but won't be there any earlier. If you can't or don't want to follow the caravan in, then come on over to Crawford
The last I heard, the caravan folks had not gotten a permit for a place to gather. I went ahead and got one for us--just to make sure we had a place. If they get one, and we don't need the one I have, I will cancel it. Unless he changes it, Police Chief Donnie has put us in the same place we were last time--only we have both sides of the stadium this time, and MAYBE the stadium itself. He is checking on that.
We have our permit from 9AM-5 PM, and I plan to arrive by 9AM.
Please help me ping everyone who was on the other thread--and add anything to this one that is pertinent and that I have forgotten, please.

Well, maybe she just had a TIA. Is there anyway you guys nearer can find out if an ambulance called and if she is in a hospital?

Hay, it will be cool to meet you in Crawford. I remember you gave me some advice as to where a gun range was in Las Vegas a couple of years ago.

No, I can't get down there, sorry. I was just offering to print signs and fedex them to someone.

We have now been promised that some of those inflatable bouncy things that people rent for kids parties will be on our site. A guy who owns one of these rental places is providing them--gratis!
I'm the sign lady for the HOT chapter and I can't go this weekend. Sorry Basil and all but I'm working on more signs and theSarce will bring them up.
When she gets there she will need some of the early freepers to take the signs (and flags) and hang them on the fence. The TV cameras sometimes go down the line and take pictures of the signs. I will include tiny cable ties and/or pipecleaners to twist
Anyone who loves that sign can surely hold it for the rally (OF COURSE) and return it to the brown holder at the end of the rally. Remember the signs do return to other freeps.
I will be watching the TV, give them a good one!
