Congratulations to Lefty! He birdied 18 when neither Elkington nor Bjorn could.

His shot out of the deep rough yesterday onto the green was awesome. Almost as awesome as Tiger's chip from the muck to save par. I'm glad to see Phil start winning some majors.

Never mind that, how did Tiger do? Where did he wind up on the leader board? Where did Tiger have breakfast this morning? What did he eat? What's wrong with his game? How come Tiger lost? Was it Tiger's swing? Was it Tiger's short game? Why didn't Tiger win? How does this effect Tiger? How is Tiger taking this?

A great win for Mickelson. They say winning the first major is tough, but sometimes winning another is the true test to show that you just didn't luck out on the first one.
I hope Mickelson wins many more. He's a good family man and a genuinely nice guy (not that the other guys out there are by any means bad).

I was rooting for Elk; he's had to overcome some pretty serious illnesses and injuries the past few years, and it's good to see him back playing well.

I'm glad Mickelson won. But the reality is that Tiger is a giant among ants. Tiger's principle rivals are good players, not great ones. Tiger's final round of 68 was the lowest among the leaders, and he was 7-under after round 1. If Tiger's off-day on Thursday hadn't been so bad, he would have won. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a Tiger fan.
Mickelson is so hit or miss, we have no idea what he's going to do. When he wins sometimes it seems as if he does so in spite of himself.

Excellent. Now he has two majors under his belt which should help his confidence.

Woo hoo! Go Mick. It's nice to see the '2nd best' (as he was called for a while) win, it's about time!

Good for Phil. One more major ( 3 or more) and he will be in a class of the best golfers to play the game.
