Natalee's, over in the "Shango Code Talkers" thread, we have continued to receive cryptically-phrased posts.

We have developed some ability to know which of these new posters is the former Shango or Simian. It's not perfect but one of our posters developed a secret question-answer that is used to verify identify.

One of the posts has a possible interpretation that implies that Natalee was playing blackjack that day with Joran, and that "someone" in the casino picked her out, gave a handsignal to the dealer. Then the dealer dealt her two aces which was a signal to Joran that this girl was someone that that "someone" would have an interest in.

We have to weed through a lot of posts over in the Shango Code Talkers, but this one struck a chord with us as perhaps being important. Can the family have access to casino video for that afternoon? Can they re-play it looking for the dealer having dealt her two aces?

If Lorenzo is the dealer that fled to Holland. I wonder if jansen interviewed him while she was there?

Well, I sure didn't mean to turn this into a sermon.
The correlation between sickness and sin is kind of interesting to me, like the chicken and the egg.

I just don't believe sickness causes sin, but I also believe quite strongly that health miraculously improves when moral challenges are overcome.

I've seen this before......to me, it seems unnecessarily elaborate......also, most people would turn the aces face up and call for 2 holecards, doubling the stake, which is almost always at least ONE winning hand of the two.......I would think that one of the girls from MB playing alongside Natalee would remember this hand and tell of it.

van der Straaten is jorans godfather. Joran was born 18 years ago IN HOLLAND.....Godparents are named at/before birth
Hi, Vn_survivor_67-68, most Godparents are named at/before birth but if Joran's baptism was as a toddler or older (rather than shortly after birth), that could skew the timeline.

Anita has interest in Buddhism now;are we sure van der Straaten has a relationship going back to Joran's birth? Van der Sloots could have given Joran an infant baptism but it could also be later, depending on their inclinations. Also, are we sure they mean godfather as in a religious sense or as in a "Don Corleone/Marlon Brando" sense?

I agree that illness can affect behavior, but I don't think illness = behavior. Choices do.

But I think this is one of those things that comes down to what side of the fence you've sat on. I've been married to a sociopath--I've seen the same look that I've seen on Joran's face, so I'm harsher about it being a behavioral choice (that's my nice way of saying SIN--willful complete disobedience to the Word of God). Parent's who don't expose their kids to the Word of God hold 'some' of the responsibility of their behavior. But, we all have that inner compass as well. I think labeling him a sociopathic liar automatically gives him an excuse, and professionals loads of fun for him to play with. I certainly don't mean to take away from other's people's experience with truly mentally ill or incompetent individuals.

But as I see it in this case, labeling gives way to him blaming mom for not being there, dad for this, Natalee for being there at the wrong time, instead of a selfish jacka$$ who took and quite possibly destroyed what wasn't given to him.
