Hey, I have been posting this on the internet all night...I need everyones help please! This is the story...sorry its kinda jumbled....WKLQ is on the air right now, and they need to be stopped!
Update: I just listened to KLQ for like a nano second and they said they are still planning on killing the dog. Two children have drown in the last week in this area, and they want to bring "awareness" to parents by showing how easy it is to drown. They are not only killing a dog, but they are gaining national attention for their radio show by capitalizing on the tragic deaths of children. These people are the scum of the earth, and should be taken down!! Even if this is a stunt, it does not give them a right to make money and gain fame off the deaths of children.
PLEASE help us!! Call the station, tell them they suck...call their sponsors and tell them you will never use their products again! Just do something, please! The info and original post(s) are below. Thank you for your help!
(last nights post) I just watched the news and KLQ is maintaing that they ARE going to kill the dog tomorrow morning. The police are looking into it, but we still need your help. Let's protest the crap out of KLQ!!!!

A local radio station is DROWNING A DOG to make people "more aware of drowning". Please help me protest this and help save this poor dog (or any dog) from death!

I'm REALLY hoping that they are doing it for publicity, but either way if its true or not, they suck and need their a$$es kicked! So please help me kick some a$$!
I said I didn't believe that the prank was real, but that I was angry that they would use the deaths of children to help promote their crappy station.
The local news last night said that WKLQ is failing and that they are looking for ratings...doing it "for the children" is a crock...THAT'S what I have a problem with.
If they killed the dog, they would have the whole nation wanting them dead.
The reason I posted this was so that people would call the station and tell these guys that they are tasteless morons and that they should not be on the air.
For the record I only listen to XM and Sirius (I have both...two different cars) Normal radio stinks, IMO. A friend sent me a link to the station last night, or I would have never known:)

But they did it to get their ratings up...that's what I have a problem with. They have good PR people though, saying that they "did for the children." Phhhffft...
I knew a farm girl once. She was 13 before she figured out that cats have more than 1 kitten to a litter. (Her dad always seemed to be awake a little earlier on the mornings that the momma cats gave birth).
